Call me an old fuddy duddy but this is just wrong. His voice sounds like it is on helium. Yes, he is cute but did this beautiful song really need to be redone? He just doesn't have the voice for it. I much prefer the original.

There is a property owner so desperate to rent a house in this neighborhood that they are offering section 8 housing. Wonderful, now the property value on this house will go lower than it already is and we will never get out of here. I wish I could turn back the time. I would never have bought this house if I knew what I know now. I wish I already had I decent job and I would say we walk away from it even though it would ruin our credit. It just sucks to live somewhere you don't want to but you can't afford to fix the house up to sell. It will be hard to sell even if it is fixed up because houses around here just don't sell very fast. It is not the least bit trendy, people around here go to bed at 8pm and sit in their driveways if they want to relax. :(

This a very nice vacuum except it would be nice if it would run for longer than 10 minutes after you charge it for 8 hours. :( Now I am sorry I shelled out the 28 dollars for it. It does work very well and picks up nicer than anything I have tried. I bought that stupid dirt devil hardwood floor sweeper last year and that was awful, it stayed charged but it didn't pick anything up. Isn't there something like the swiffer jet vac that will run long enough if you live somewhere bigger than a 300 square foot NYC studio? Now I am stressed about vacuum cleaners, I guess I am getting old. :(

I was just out on the swing reading my psychology book and it felt miserable. It is like sitting in a humid bathroom after you shower. So far this has been a nice, comfortable summer with cool, non-humid weather but that has come to an end. I guess August will still be in my top 10 of least favorite months, January ranks up there with its bitter cold temperatures. I bet it is 10 times more miserable in Florida, I don't know how people deal with it. Full sun, 95 degrees with 100% humidity, yuck. Pacific Grove looks very attractive right now, 65 degrees, very comfortable. I guess I am just not a hot weather, high humidity person. :( Studying will now take place in the air conditioned house where it is comfortable and I won't sweat from inactivity.

If anyone doesn't know about this yet. Some guy opened fire at a LA fitness gym in Pittsburgh and killed 3 women plus himself. I think he was taking out his rage on women since after reading his blog I realized he didn't have much luck with women. He doesn't look like a bad guy and he isn't bad looking so I don't really know what was wrong because I never met him in person. Maybe he was creepy to women and other people. I am curious as to how many people there are out like this just waiting to explode. I wonder if anyone even read his blog. Another store is closing because of the stupid economy...Smith and Hawkin. This is truly sad, it is such a wonderful store and I even wanted to apply for a job there. I have seen numerous stores close in the past couple of years and I find it sad that this economy is destroying such wonderful places that we will never see again. I guess the only store that won't going out of business is stupid wal-mart. I recently found out that in Ohio wal-mart is the largest private employer in this state. I guess that says a lot about this state, relocate here and you can have a wonderful career at wal-mart because soon there will be no other stores to shop at or jobs to work at. If this happens I guess I will have to buy everything online, including groceries because I refuse to step foot in wal-mart or what a lot of people call it, Wally World. :(

An alternative to declawing a cat..

I don't have a cat but this is kind of cool. Instead of declawing your cat or letting him/her tear up your furniture and walls, you can put these little things on their nails called soft paws. I don't know how vets' declaw cats nowadays but when I worked for a vet back in high school, when he declawed the cat he simply cut the nails below a certain point and they didn't grow back. The cat didn't experience much pain except they hate the bandages the vet puts on their paws after the procedure. When they wake up, they stand in their cages shaking their paws trying to get the bandages off.

Tylenol is the only thing that works for my backaches, I don't know what I will do if they pull it. I guess I will go get a prescription for oxycontin if they are gonna screw me of my only pain relief. I have a mild curve in my spine so sometimes my back hurts a little bit. Annoying, they take everything away. People know the risks of liver damage if they take it excessively, let people choose for themselves, we are not children so stop treating us like we are. Cigarettes cause cancer and alcohol causes liver damage but you don't see them pulling those off the shelves so why Tylenol?

I love this AT&T commercial. I keep telling hubby that this is where I want to move, I love her house, her garden and the bench she is sitting on by the ocean. I had to look up where this was filmed and now that I know I want to move to Pacific Grove, California. Hubby has been there and he says it is awesome. Maybe once I get my RN degree I will start sending resumes out that way.

I saw this realtor on Nightline last night. He walks through properties(mostly foreclosures) in north San Diego and he tells it like he sees it. No more "needs tender loving care" and "cozy". His comments are actually funny and his videos are entertaining. I guess some ex owners of foreclosed houses tend to be disgruntled and damage the houses before they leave. One guy poured concrete down his toilets before he left. Of course none of these houses are as bad as the boarded up dumps we have here in Columbus. I have never seen so many boarded up houses and businesses around here in all my life. The city puts big orange vacant signs on all the houses and then people come by, strip everything out and break all the windows. In this one neigborhood, this house was for rent and so no one would break in, the owner boarded up the windows. A great selling point to a house is boarded up windows. I don't know if this town will ever be prosperous again.

It amazes me what men will spend money on and women will do for money...
